I have the ABS/TCS/Exclamation point combination of warning lights. I've tried the DIY fix of reworking the wire splices in the driver's side rear passenger footwell to no avail. I guess the next most likely thing is one or more of the wheel sensors. Will a standard OBD2 code reader be of any use for this, or do I need to find a shop that has a Tech2?
The warning lights generally come on once I reach a minimum speed of about 90kph. Is that indicative of anything? Almost seems like the signal is there, but weak. Once the lights go on, they stay on until the car is turned off and back on, and driven for a few seconds. In other words, the lights are on immediately after you turn the car on, but then go out, so it definitely thinks things are all fine at low speed. Should I be inspecting the universal joints? I recall on my 9000 that part of those were notched, which is where the sensors picked up the signal from. If those got filled with rust and debris it affected the signal quality.
Thanks.
