as suggested.. see if the 2 silver pipes into the heater core are getting hot. The heating core is in the same area as the cabin filter.
1) If both pipes are hot, then it's something internal, most likely the mixer flaps stuck/broke or a defective stepping motor.
2) If only 1 pipe is hot.. then the heater core could be clogged.. and have some air trapped in the line..
3) If none of the pipes are hot, then hot water is not entering the heater core..so check under the hood, and see if the hoses leading from the thermostat are heating up, as the car reaches operating temperature.. If not, your thermostat is likely stuck open, and needs replacement.
If the hose leading off the thermostat gets hot, then as suggested.. check before and after the heater bypass valve at the firewall. If the heater hoses entering the firewall from the valve are not hot.. then bypass valve is likely bad.
Getting back to the heater core pipes.. If both are hot, then try manually moving the mixing flaps.. There are 2 on the drivers side.. and one on the passenger side.. One of the flaps on the drivers side controls the air temp entering the car.. and likely the culprit. I don't recall if it's the upper or lower flap on the drivers side foot well.. so try moving both..
good luck
Mike
