years ago I looked for an alternative to a Tech 2 to diagnose a tricky ABS error on my Aero. I ended up buying a Tech 2 clone.

Fast forward many years and it seems that "think" is making devices that can read the ABS, SRS, and other systems on our Saabs. I do not have direct experience but I did see a youtube where the user read ABS codes on a 9-3 Aero.

Caveat: when I was looking for an alternative I found more than a few companies that advertised full support for Saab (including ABS and SRS codes), but in fact did not support it beyond OBD II codes.

Surely coverage and support is not 100% complete but this might be an option for many of us but they claim to support both read and write function. Since I already have a Tech 2 clone I wont be buying one, but its very encouraging.
