I have a 2009 9-5 with 165k mikes. A few days ago the fuel gauge started to behave funny (drops to zero when the tank is full). Given the mileage the new fuel pump assembly seems like a good idea.
What would be the most reasonable choice for this part? I see one by ProParts for $185 and the OEM one for $754 on the eEuroparts site. There is a Carter one for $200 on RockAuto. There is one by Spectra on Amazon for $225.
Are any of these aftermarket ones are at least decent? $754 for the OEM one is somewhat steep - especially given that it may not even be the real OEM but rather whatever Orio thinks they should sell now as OEM.
