agree tire noise can be seemingly like wheel bearing noise. In rear, if toe out condition exists, one or both tires will roll outward due to toe out and then about one revolution, the thrust angle forward of car will cause the toe'd out tire to skid shuff to a more normal position centered under the rim.
what verifys this at home is jacking up a wheel and spinning and you will see a wave broad flat groove are a 45 degree angle. once above 45 on t he road you will hear the flat spot wave area as just like a wheel bearing noise. Odd but happens is on t he front if sub frame bushings are very worn, metal to metal or close enough to this, the drive train vibrations cone through floor boards and again sound like wheel bearings.Your comment about noisy tires is true also. with EV, being quiet, any tire noise
is bad sound top EV drivers. 4 tire makers are now making tires with foam belts glued under the tread, in open air area of tyre. google Michelin on anti road noise tire technology.
on rear whl bearings, the emergency cable support bracket has 2- 15mm nuts, in a plaqce you can see neither. took a while to stop pounding rear bearing out, and find an INNER nut under cable bracket.
