When I bought my 9-5 MY 2000 in 2004 with 100.000 Km, the clutch was replaced but just because the transmission was off the engine anyway and it made sense to change the clutch since it was easily accessible. I changed it myself again at 650.000 Km and compared the thickness with the new clutch plates. It was half way between new and rivets in thickness after half a million Km.
Mainly highway kilometers. And my kids didn’t use the car much yet back then.

The car is now approaching 1.100.000 Km and the clutch is still OK, even though my kids use the car a lot more now and I’m not so impressed by their clutch skills.
