My old 2002 SAAB, when the car is first used in the morning, I can back out out of the driveway just fine. But then when I put it in Drive, there is a 2 or 3 second delay and then it just slams into gear. It is pretty violent at it jerks the car. Car drives fine and doesn't seem to do it again if the transmission is warm. Next morning, the first drive of the day, it does it all over again. I suppose there are no Snake Oils that might help. My transmission fluid is perfect. I change out 4 quarts every other engine oil change so it's really red and clean. I bought a bunch on Toyota T-IV fluid years ago. The Dealer gave me a jobbers price so I bought 3 cases. But I need to slow down draining it out as I can't get a deal anymore and the price now is insane.
