I still have a few new OEM-type wiper blades for my 2000 and 2001 9-5s, both wagons. They are Valeo 800239 with the airfoil and 800234 for the passenger side. But those part numbers seem to be out of stock now so maybe they are no longer in production. The last few I got seemed to have an unusually short life and might have been old stock. My 2009 has different arms that use the “beam” blades. I didn’t initially like the look of the beams but they last a long time and wipe very well, better than the old style. I have thought about getting new style arms from salvage places for my older 9-5s. The windshields are all the same size so I don’t see why that wouldn’t work. The beam blades are also Valeo. If you want to keep your hook arms (sounds like we are discussing pirates), Valeo Titanium 604473 work well and are sold as “traditional.” They are 22 inches rather than 23” of the older part numbers but seem long enough, and the airfoil is gone. So much for my monograph on wiper blades.
