Boost a bit sluggish Posted by NCCaniac [Email] [Profile/Gallery]

I have noticed in the last couple of weeks that the boost on my 2008 9-5 Sportcombi 2.3t is a bit sluggish. I realize it has been very hot recently and I am running the A/C most of the time which does sap some horsepower, but even running 93 octane gas consistently the turbo gauge rarely moves quickly into the yellow like it does on my 2000 9-3.
I am not getting any CEL codes but I know on my 9-3 the boost pressure relief/bypass valve was often the culprit, or cracked vacuum lines. I guess another possible cause could be the MAF. Is there any way to identify the cause or is it just trial and error replacing the various parts mentioned?
