I’m afraid I can’t speak directly about your particular oil leak, but I have chased a number of oil leaks on my 9-5s. It’s best to clean the entire area from the bottom to the top of the engine. Then monitor it closely to see where the oil reappears. Sometimes it can be something as simple as a timing cover gasket leaking oil that is traveling down and coating things below. But until you remove the oil accumulation it is difficult to diagnose. You don’t want to replace something unnecessarily. Good luck chasing down your leak.
