I have a 2004 sedan and a 2005 wagon. There is a lot of overlap. In terms of what I would take, pricing may come into play, but...

Afaik, any body parts are the same. Lights and eg light bar on the hatch are things that can get messed up and useful to have a spare.

I always grab stuff like the orange relay, hooter valve, etc as they are easy and work for many years. Evap control valve, might be slightly different configuration but I would grab anyway. If you don't have a spare throttle body, those are expensive new and easy to grab. I've never seen one that still had a turbo left, boy racers tend to saw them out of every turbocharged car the day they arrive in the yard haha... Modules like twice if there is a key in the car, though double check 04/05 compatibility on that...

Maybe better to note things that aren't the same... The abs module is totally different and that would be a big one to keep as a spare if you can find one for the 04 as they tend to go.
