Yes it is but I'm not certain of all the complexities. I believe there is a lease transfer fee of $500 or something. I'd also assume that the buyer has to qualify for the lease.
Actually, I was thinking of the same thing last night. Don't get me wrong - I love my Aero BUT recently I've kinda been thinking of moving out of the U.S. (24 years old, single, timings not going to get much better...). To do so, I need to improve my financial situation some and certainly the fastest would be to give up my 9-5, live with my aging 900 for a year or two and knock out all my debt (student loans, etc). Boy is this a hard decision and an application for residency/work abroad is by no means a guarenteed yes... New Zealand is looking rather nice from here in Minnesota...
Anyway, $400 for an SE sounds attractive to me. I'm paying $492 for my Aero, loaded with everything but Auto, and wouldn't be surprised if I had to kick in $1000 plus pick up the transfer fee to get rid of it. DAMN DAMN DAMN that would hurt but it would cut my time to be debt free in half. :(
Good luck!
Bryce
