The Auto and Manual radiator is basically the same except they dont cut the holes and insert the fixings for the Auto cooler lines in the manual rad.

Pre facelift cars the top hose spiggot faces straight backwards, facelift onwards cars the spiggot is angled to avoid the battery (which moved forward and turned compared to pre-facelift cars).

You can use a facelift rad on a pre-facelift car but you will need the facelift top hose as well to make it work. You can also use the auto rad so long as the internals havent failed in the rad and it leaks. Usually when this happens the autobox gets filled up with coolant and thats never a good thing.

One thing you cant do (but not relevant here?) is use a pre-facelift rad on a facelift car as the battery is in the way and the pipes dont fit.
