Just a follow up on this. I installed this new DIC in my 9-5 while at the SOC last month. It worked fine on the drive back to NC from New Jersey and ever since. The old OEM DIC had developed a small crack in the metal casing on the underside which likely expanded and contracted with heat and put stress on the inner circuitboard. This failure point was pointed out to me by another Saab owner at the SOC so now I know another thing to watch for in the future on this part.
