The fellows at saab3dprint in Sweden sell a gadget that mounts in the coin holder in the console and gives you a constant voltage readout plus USB ports. The battery voltage would be in the ignition on position and the alternator voltage once the car starts. It’s an easy way to check the battery and charging voltage, plus it gives you USB charging ports your 9-5 didn’t have. It only takes a few minutes to install and piggybacks off the lighter socket with no wiring required. I got mine pre-tariff so I can’t comment on that situation but they come in the mail in a couple of weeks.
