I mounted both mine and my friends in the upper drivers side corner of the rear windshield. I mounted it vertically, and placed it such that the top of the antenna was below the factory radio antenna wire, and the bottom af the cell ant only intersected one defroster wire. I did this on the driver side and the antenna is behind the black painted portion of the window. It is pretty hard to spot and looks almost factory if noticed.
For a while I had it mounted in the third brake light housing, but performace suffered, so I moved it back to the drivers side corner of the windshield. While I had it in the brake light I was using the factory hidden antenna coax with a coupler. When I moved it back to the upper driver's side corner of the rear window I routed the cable that came with the antenna from the hands free kit to the window. (By-passing the Saab coax) This allowed for the minimum number of coulpers. If you do this, the antenna wire is a little short, so be very careful about your wiring path so as not to waste any wire.
