Code PO 300 -- Random/Multiple misfire detected

My 00 v6 has been in the shop now for almost two weeks and keeps spitting out this code. Many parts have been replaced, including di casette, plugs, and today timing was checked and found to be ok. Map sensor ok. Propane test yesterday showed no vacuum leaks. Someone on this board had posted a similar problem which was reportedly resolved with a neew camshaft position sensor. No camshaft codes however, only code 300. New camshaft position sensor will be installed tomorrow and possibly a throttle body if the camshaft sensor does not work. Tech says the engine seems to run ok until it warms up. He says ECU controls engine on start up until warm then sensors "take over" and that's when he thinks the problems begin. Does anyone have any ideas? If so any help would be appreciated.
