I've always said that a vehicle is only as good as it's diagnosis. I've never seen a problem vehicle stay a problem vehicle once the real source for the problem is found. Instead of fixing what is obviously broken, find out what broke it. With a certified warranty and a good price, I would buy it. Especially, if the problem's been solved. By the way, I doubt that it has a bad title. Real Lemon cars don't stay at the dealership, they tend to disappear. I'm sure that the customer received a trade-in certificate from Saab, and drove home in an identical vehicle. I'm sure 90% of the problem was in the mind of the original owner. Once a vehicle fails twice (with the same or similar problem), the customer starts looking for that third so that they have a reason to get a new car for free. I've seen it happen many times. It's the American way: Wanting something for nothing.
Cheers,
Brian.
