1 - jack up the car and remove the roadwheel
2 - use pliers to pull off the contorted spring holding the outer pad
3 - on the back of the caliper, remove the two black plastic dust covers
4 - insert a torx bit, and unscrew the caliper pins. Remove them.
5 - pull the pad holder bracket toward the front of the car. Be sure not to let it fall.
6 - remove the pads from the holder.
7 - use a C-clamp, and gently push the caliper piston back in all the way. Don't force it past its lowest point.
8 - put in new pads
9 - put the pad holder back in place
10 - grease the caliper pins with hi-temp grease ($0.99 tube from the place where you bought the pads)
11 - screw in the pins
12 - replace the dust covers
13 - replace the contorted spring holding the outside pad
14 - put the wheel back on and lower the car.
Pump the brakes a few times to seat the pads. The brake pedal might fall to the floor a couple of times. This is normal.
