3M Scotchcal is a clear polyurathane film which is sold only to commercial installers. It's also used in OEM applications. Go the the 3M website and search for scotchcal. I sent them an e-mail from their site asking who are the authorized installers in the Minneapolis area. There was only one in Minneapolis and one in St. Paul. Go with an authorized one. I talked to the installer and found out that the get a lot of botched jobs from other places. Some places score the film on the car instead of making a template. When they score they can also score the paint. The end result when doen properly is fantastic. I have silver Aero so I didn't want a black strip in front of the hood. My strip is about 6" wide. The installer popped the hood emplem for application and reinstalled it after. Superb.
