Oh no, Blue Smoke!

I have a '00 9-5, 6000 miles. This morning on start-up I noticed some blue (not white) smoke coming out the tail pipe - not a huge cloud, but enough to cause some concern. Smoke stopped after a few seconds. Spoke to the service manager at the dealer (Hunt Valley SAAB), and he says "excess emissions on startup = ECU problem" Can this be true? I would guess that an emission problem would give black smoke.
I have read some of the posts on early turbo failure, and am concerned that this is what is happening. Car is running fine otherwise.
Never seen any smoke from my '90 900 T with > 130,000 miles.
