Sounds like a pack of crap, if the crankshaft sensor is not sending out pulses, I really doubt that the Engineers at Saab programmed the ECU to be working or firing the DI continuously. Was the ECU firing the injectors as well when the engine was not running?

But, DI's are known to fail at 100000 miles at any time. So don't worry about it. This is normal, and dealer blowing it out of there exhaust pipes is normal too. You might be happy that it failed where it did and not out in the booneys at night in a winter storm!

That why I had a spare DI in my 95SET, now if only I still had that 95SET!!!
