for the dealer. There's a lot of fine print and obscure conditions that can really kink a finance deal. They'll take your E-loan here, but they won't release the car to you until E-loan says it's OK. For certain types of credit, as in poor credit, the conditions can be an obstacle. The customer assumes that 100% financing covers everything, but the 100% may be only be wholesale and not cover tax and license either. Other times there are requests for documentation in the fine print. And the print is really fine, seriously! It's a lot of documentaion and follow up without the customary minumum $100-200 fee a dealer receives for booking a loan. A check or draft from a local bank or credit union, no problem. But we'll have to get an E-loan "funded" first before delivery.
