But at the end of the day GM owns them and can do what they want. Saabs are using GM parts now on some components. I don't think Saab's quality will go down or anything radical will happen, but GM can lay claim to Saab and Saab engineering whether we like it or not.
That said, at the end of the day, I really don't consider my Saab a GM;) It was a good quality acquisition even if it isn't profitable.
