Gislaveds not good on dry pavement!

On 205/55-16 Gislaved winter tires, my Aero now steers and handles like a Buick LeSabre; I only hope the increased snow traction is worth the tradeoff!
Also, the car now "tramlines", that is, it tends to follow grooves found on worn highway pavement (ie, the Long Island Expressway)
Increasing the inflation pressures to 39 front/36 rear, as per Dean's recommendations, has helped some, but the handling is still pretty sloppy, and the car doesn't feel stable during abrupt maneuvers.
I will try even more pressure in these, perhaps 44/39 or so--max is 51 psi.
At least these Gislaveds are quieter than other winter tires I've tried (Blizzak MZ-02 and Hakka 1), with better wet grip than those also.
I can't wait to remount the Michelin Pilot Primacy tires come springtime!
