gauge, so that you will keep the speed limit.
I think to remember hearing something like, the car manufacturer are allowed to have a certain deviation on the gauge to produce lower speed on the veichle, but are not allowed to go the other way at all, not even 1% over speed limit.
The dealer may be right in their statement (haven't checked that yet)
I know that you can offset the fuel gauge and trip gauge to come up to "real" values using the Tech 2. But the speedo may be off limit because of liability reasons for the manufacturer.
"But officer, you must be wrong, my speedo only showed 30 Mph (going 90 through town)" ;o)
