The T7 box is far too smart for this. When I was first test driving the 9-5 and only the LPT4 auto was available, I was chagrined by the lack of oomph off the line (compared to my 9kT). So I tried the old wind-up-the-torque-converter-while-braking trick to see what it could do--and got not so much as a chirp from the tires. I tried with the TCS on and off--acceleration was a little quicker with it off.
The T7 is programmed to consider that to be a "stupid human trick" (which it is) and basically ignores your foot on the accelerator. (There's that drive-by-wire again.)
