The dealers here in the NW won't normally haggle much on Aeros, esp the Aero Wagons. There were some _excellent_ end-of-the-model-year sales last fall (like $7000 USD off MSRP for a car with less than 200 miles!) but any other time you do the best you can.
When the restyled Aero gets here, I expect you will be able to find good deals on leftover inventory. I would wait if I could stand to, and if I thought the new car would be more beautiful than the current model (I don't see how it could be.)
I haven't taken delivery of my Aero Wagon yet, but the best I was able to get was $1500 over invoice, plus StonGard installed by a certified shop for the retail price of the full kit (no labor charge), plus 10% off all Saab accessories I buy from the dealer in the first two weeks. I would have liked a bigger savings, but this deal beat the other Seattle dealer's price by $1000, so I'm content.
Once I sit in my new car I expect I won't even think about the price.
