interesting - did some phonecalls with saab switzerland, römer the manufacturer etc etc. since ISOFIX became standard @ the 02 models not all manufacturers have tested their seats with all brands. römer has not tested nor approved their ISOFIX seat with saab. and saab does not care too much about it (according to saab switzerland they are working on it ... ) - although saab is getting more and more requests from 02 95 owners just like from me. there4 saab (as well as volvo) do not appear on their list of accredited car brands. in other words you can buy this children seat and marry it to your car. but if sh** happens römer as manufacturer of the children seat could not be kept liable.
saab offers isofix as "option" and additional safety thingy. disappointing IMO that this does not work. well they might be rather busy selling their cars than taking care of the security of possible future saab owners...
I myself scratch this ISOFIX-blabla and get another decent child seat (for less money) - PS: Pls bear in mind that i have only checked with the seats from römer - might be that other brands outside switzerland/europe have other approvals/arrangements with saab - if so i would be glad to hear - drive save and enjoy your day
