engine. When water enters the air intake the pressure change switches a valve so air to the engine is sucked in from a different source which is dry. Also a K/N Airfilter is coated with oil and this would help keep water out of the air intake. Since the car is under warr, do you have to wait till Saab makes a change or will the dealer let you do something. Sounds like a big hassle but I guess that's part of the risk of having such a new car.
