I've seen and heard nothing but horror stories from people who have used these do-it-yourself ding/dent removal tools. Most common result is you trade your ding for a raised bubble in your sheet metal from overpulling and overstressing the metal. Then you are stuck with this bump you can do nothing about. If you ding has a crease, the tool is worthless.
Find the nearest Dent Wizard franchise. I've used them, and for under $100 a fix, they have done perfect work. If you watch their process, they generally heat the work area, then push out the ding from inside the sheet metal, then tap any raised metal back down flush with a hammer and tap (look scary, but it works).
