I have always thought that an engine using Mobil 1 0w 40w would be good for 10k miles even though many on these boards insist on 5k or LESS intervals ???? Its expensive stuff here in the UK !!!

But puzzled why you recommend 5k whilst in warranty and then 10k when out of warranty, I would have though you would look after you engine more when out of warranty ?
