GOrdon: in my experience, it is most pronounced between 70-80 MPH, and the severity is higher with 17 inch wheels and low profile tires. With my 16 inch snow package on the car, the vibration is not as bad. I believe that it is inherent in the chassis design, and not fully solvable.I have not tried on car balancing as that has some problems with front wheel drive, and finding a shop that does it is pretty tough as well. I just ditched a set of Dunlop SP 9000 that were not fully worn out on the suspicion that the featheringof the tread was causing my vibratons, but now with brand new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, the vibration is actually a little higher than in the fall. I have driven many 9-5's and they all had some vibration at highway speeds in that range.
