I have had my 2002 9-5 Aero S/W now for about 6000 miles and just love it. Its byfar the best car I have driven, and I have had quite a few including Audi’s and BMW’s (even an M3 for a while – and while that was far superior in speed, it was not as comfortable and relaxing to drive)

So here it is then – my first dissapointment with my new Saab Wagon…..

I am 6ft , I would say that’s average height for a man. Has anyone tried to drop the rear seats in these estate cars to fit in a large object.

To lower the back seats, I have to practically move the front seats all the way forwards. I have put the rear seat headrests to their fully retracted position.

I did this for the first time a few days ago to get a bicycle in the cargo space.

The cargo size is awesome, but then try to drive the car !!

I can then not get in the car without great difficulty, and its deffinately not safe to drive.

I love this car, but I am bitterly disappointed by this design. Fortunately I don’t need the big cargo space often.

What is going on ?
