Not sure what type of road you will be on for the test drive, but....I would try going from 3000 RPMS in 3rd gear all the way just past redline, shift to 4th and floor it. You will hit 90-100 in no time. Obviously best place to do this would be a straight on ramp with no traffic. You will experience a sensation that someone is picking you up from underneath and pushing you forward - I try to experience this daily as I merge on to an empty highway in the morning. This will give you a feel for the aero advantage over a G35. The G35 might be quicker off the line, but the turbo will offer a different experience when at speed. Also play with passing. The aero is a beautiful car when it is moving at high speeds - nicest I have ever driven - feels very secure.
It won't hurt to take a few hard turns as well - it can handle it. Crank up the HK stereo as well - probably one of the best stock radios for this class of automobile.
Are you testing the manual in the G35?? Have they begun making the 6 speed? I actually sat in one of the G35s at the autoshow. In the magazines I thought the interior looked cheap, but it wasn't that bad in person. Seems like a nice car. I just can't imagine getting the type of road response out of the G35 that you can get out of the aero.
Just some things to consider.
