I replaced the OEM Michelin MXV4's on my '00 lpt with Toyo Proxes FZ4's in mid-March. Have put around 5,000 miles on them since.
They are quieter than the OEM's. They have better traction than the OEM's. Are good in the rain. Are good in the snow, (got a 3-inch dump of snow a week of installiing the tires). Price was great, around $100 each installed. No problems with the tires yet, bought the P225/50 VR16 size which was less expensive than the standard (smaller) size tire!
The tread design is a little more aggresive than I would like (maybe I'm getting old), and I can't seem to keep them shiny. After cleaning and an application of tire shine, the sidewalls revert to dull rubber look after only two days.
Plus these were stocked locally. Some of the other tires I was strongly considering had to be special ordered.
