I did a quick search on the bulletin board on the subject of paint and saw few complaints. I have a 2001 midnite blue wagon (recently purchased new) that seems to mark up more easily that it should. I complained to the dealer about previous marks that occurred in his care and he has buffed them out pretty well. However, I just got it back again yesterday and there is a new mark (rear right door all the way back under the rear right window - 2 ft long +). I rarely touch the paint at all and park away from other cars etc. The scratches never seem very deep - maybe just in the clear coat. I know the dealer must touch the car to work on it and these things happen (I want to give the guys working on the car the benefit of the doubt). Any chance there have been documented problems with this color/year?
