I have the 4-cyl engine -- I thought the 6 cyl too loud and not as well-tuned as the 4-cyl -- certainly not worth the price differential. As a matter of fact, if you punch the "S" mode on the 4-cyl, the turbo kicks in and you will never notice the difference between the engines. Experts here on the board tell me that the 4-cyl is Saab's, while the 6 cyl is a GM made in England.
