Problems on warm start...again.

I know that about a year ago I had issues with stalling if the engine was already warm. The dealer replaced/reprogrammed the chip and (well, it started overheating instead, but they fixed that as well) its been fine until now.Could anyone tell me again what the issue is again.
The car is a 99 9-5 2.3 auto, and it seems just this past week to stall the first few tries if the engine is already hot.
Why would this be fine for a year and then become an issue again?
