A couple months ago, some road debris totally blew out my foglight. We aren't talking about cracking the lens or something, it was GONE. All that was left was a wire to the socket for the bulb (bulb gone too).
A new foglight goes for about $115 invoice. Installation is a breeze BUT you need to get the front of the car up. There's actually only about 2-3 bolts or screws holding it in place. Really, it's no problem.
HOWEVER, there's a plastic piece that may have been broken too. If you obliterated the foglight like I did, it's probably broken. If you just cracked it, you're probably ok.
The plastic piece is located to the inside side of the foglight (e.g. left of the drivers side light, right of the passengers side light). It's a small piece of slotted plastic, black. I forget it it's vertically or horizontally slotted. The upper bolt/screw (forget which) that holds the foglight in place goes through this piece of plastic. Mine looked fine until I got it on a lift. Fixing this will be easy too and it only costs about $15, $25 tops. I don't have the invoice here but will try to post the part # tonight/tomorrow.
In fact, I've been meaning to write up a small bit about it (costs, part #'s, etc). I also replaced my lip spoiler (Aero) at the same time.
