Had a 1999 V6, lost it in a flood, replaced with 2001 4cyl. Two check engine warnings and replaced DI in the 6, but passengers loved the smoother acceleration and I think the ride was a little smoother but maybe mushier. All in all, a great car. On the 4, SID replaced and several minor electrical problems. I like the livelier acceleration but the passengers do not like it as much. Ride was a little harsher, but with new Yokohama tires now it is great too. Reliability was a toss up, I love both, but I have to say, kind of miss the V6.
