I was happy with the braking performance and minimal brake dust generated with the Green Stuff pads. I'm still not sure if I'd get them again though.
Here's the issue... My car (a '99 9-5) has had a terrible brake squeal (I'm talking load squeals at more than one frequency coming from what sounds like all 4 wheels) since almost day one. I complained about it to my dealer virtually every time I had the car in for service but they said they could find no problem. At about 30,000km I mentioned it again and was told I needed new front pads. I put on the EBC pads and the noise went away for about 1000km but then returned. The next time I mentioned the squeal to my dealer, my car had 40,000km on it and I was told I needed new rear pads. Replaced those with OEM pads but a little while later the squeal returned. For the next 20,000km every time I mentioned it to my dealer I was told that the noise was coming from the aftermarket pads. Now at 60,000km, my car has been at the dealer for two weeks (getting a new transmission!) and while there I asked if they could investigate the source of the brake squeal. Their latest suggestion is to replace the from pads with OEMs. I'm told that there's only 5-10% of the EBC's left, even though visual inspection by my untrained eye indicates that there's at least 1/4" of material left.
Sorry to go on like this but I'm pretty fed up with both my Saab and my dealer.
