There will be a small puff (not constant) when you tromp on the pedal, because the ecu is recalculating the amount of speed your asking for.
Do you warm the car up out of the blue area (temp gauge) before driving the car? It's best for the turbo's sake if you do, that way the fluids are properly warmed up and circulated.
