Wow - great info; I've been spending time in the garage getting the A/C to work in my BMW...but that's another story.
Anyway, the car has 51K, bought it used (lease return) and it has new Bridgestone Potenzas. I looked at the back suspension and it seemed OK (no frame damage, shocks work and don't leak, etc), but I haven't checked the alignment (the tires are new so I don't know if they're wearing funny). It seems too softly sprung, but more so, it seems as if there's lateral motion on bumps (kinda like going around a bumpy turn with a solid axle car...). I'd hate to dump $500 into a "normal" soft suspension set up...
