Lease vs Buy

I have been looking at 9-5 wagons for over a year to replace my '93 Volvo 850, 178K. I see Saab as a significant step up. I am wondering about the incentives that Saab offers, they only seem to apply to leases. Since I commute 2+ hrs, 100 miles/day, 30k/yr a lease are not practical.
Does anyone have insight into Saab's thinking/marketing? (an oximoron?)
Bye the bye, the steering wheel seems a reach for me when I configure the seat for best leg position. Has anyone else noticed this? Might the new seats in the updated 2002 change this?
Thanks!
