We had one of the worst winters in DC last year in quite some time (where plowing can be an afterthought), and my '02 Aero with snowshoes on 16" wheels was flawless. Passed SUVs that were having trouble. Never had a problem with getting stuck. Did, on occassion, plow some snow with the front end, but no damage, and you can usually avoid the higher drifts. Good luck - don't hesitate to take the Saab into the cold stuff.
