pads. I just installed these on my '99 sedan a few months ago and have been pleased. The pads are of a more aggressive compound, so they have better bite. They also produce a lot less dust, like you're talking about. I'm ashamed to admit it, but a few weeks ago I had driven my car for 3 weeks w/out washing (I usually do it at least once a week) and the front wheels were as dirty as they would have been w/ a weeks worth of driving w/ the stock pads. I highly upgrade these. However, all good things have a vice. They do squeak sometimes at parking lot speeds. It's a minor annoyance for the improved braking feel (what I was most concerned w/) and less dust. Hope this helps.
Jim
PS: I bought the rotors from Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com), and the pads from Swedish Dynamics (http://www.saabperformanceparts.com/), a site sponsor.
