Hi,

Yesterday I tried to start my MY01 95 Wagon. I had to crank it about three times and finally after a 15 second turn of the key it the engine struggled into action. So I drove around for 30 minutes, let it sit for 30 minutes and lo and behold I had the same problem starting it again. However, it did start and I drove around for 2 hours. This morning the same problem. It will eventually start but it's as if the battery is dead and there is just enough juice to get it started after a few tries.

The car is a December 2001 model and was sitting in the showroom until I bought it last month. It has 17,000 km on the clock. I think it sat too long in the showroom because the air con is musty, handbrake is loose and the steering isn't accurate. Oh, I still get the 'Time For Service' message on every stsart as well even though it was service at 11,000 km. I have to take it back to the dealer anyway, so I suppose I'm asking what else should be checked or what should be telling them?
