Just FYI if anyone is thinking of purchasing a CD-Rom repair manual on EBay BEWARE. Upon purchasing the software from Shiff Automotive on eBay $129 plus $7.50 freight) it would not install right on my computer. He included a business card with the software so I called him. He was rude, insulting and stated right out that he would not give a refund on software. I told him that I had Windows ME and he said that NO automotive software runs on either Windows ME or XP. I argued back the I have two huge automotive programs on my computer now (Shopkey by snapon and dowell auto estimating) and they work fine. He then wanted me to install Windows Professional 2000 over the top of my ME system. (He sent me a bootleg copy to install) I explained that my computer guy said no way cause its very possible to lose all my programs. He also wanted me to drive to Rhode Island from my home in Conn so that he could show me that it worked. A 200 mile plus trip.
I was lucky enough to have an old computer with Windows 95 on it and it did load and work OK. But how many people have Windows 2000 or equivalent in their home. ME and XP are the most popular systems out. So just be careful when ordering so you don't get stuck like I did.
