It's a case by case thing. Your buyout might be a good one without negotiating, or maybe not. What are the specifics? After knowing that the feedback will be better.

In most cases your early buyout is the residual/buyout plus any remaining payments with very little if any discount on the interest. Translation: it doesn't pay buy it out early.

As long as the car is within 3 years and 36,000 miles you can get a General Motors Protection Plan, the best warranty, but not the cheapest. A couple of folks have emailed me about warranties through the dealer backed by Allstate or availible without the dealer from AAA. I can't vouch for these companies like I can for GMPP, but they were a much better value seemingly.
